The School has a strong research program under the umbrella of the Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CIAM) and is involved in three CRCs. It also delivers two undergraduate programs, an Honours program and a Masters in Quantitative Finance by coursework. In addition to this, the School provides service teaching and is engaged in University-wide Statistical Consulting and Research Service.
The successful applicant will be expected to have a PhD, with particular skills in Actuarial Mathematics or Statistics, and a record of research in this area. This role will teach, participate in research and statistical consulting activities and to curriculum and program development.
