Data Analyst (Casual)

Cancer Council of Victoria

Casual staff for data analysis required.

The Cancer Council of Victoria wishes to recruit post-graduate students with research experience in health related areas for ongoing casual employment for data analysis. The position will involve conducting statistical analyses for a variety of behavioural research studies and the possibility of contributing to report writing. A working knowledge of statistics and data analysis is essential, along with skills in reporting the results of analyses. Knowledge of syntax is an advantage. An understanding of univariate, multivariate and factor analysis and logistic & multiple regression analysis is important. Must have worked with SPSS or STATA software packages.

The level of supervision will depend on task required and experience. Preferred availability is a minimum of 2 days a week. Pay rate from $22.25 to $32.73 an hour depending on level of analysis and skills required.
