InforMH works at a statewide level to build knowledge and support services to improve Mental Health care. Our work includes: supporting the development of reliable information systems; providing timely, accurate and balanced analysis; making information about mental health services and care accessible to clinicians, health service managers and the communities of interest; and integrating the evidence about clinical interventions and systems that work into the delivery of mental health services in New South Wales.

In partnership with the NSW Centre for Mental Health, we are currently involved in:

*Evaluation of the Mental Health Outcomes and Assessment Tools (MH-OAT)

*Benchmarking in Non-Acute Inpatient Services

*Development of Indicators and/or evaluation mechanisms for Psychiatric Emergency Care Centres (PECCs), the Housing Accommodation and Support Initiative (HASI) and the NSW Cross-Agency Mental Health Strategy

*Collation and monitoring of data from NSW Mental Health Bed Managers, Non-Acute Inpatient Services, Acute Inpatient Services, Ambulatory and Outcome data collections

*Production of bi-annual Mental Health Report Cards which provide comparative information about NSW Mental Health Services across a range of Key Performance Indicators.
