The School of Mathematics and Statistics, is one of the largest and most dynamic in Australia, comprising Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics and Statistics.
As a strong research school, we are looking to appoint a Professor of Statistics. The role will be responsible for developing the School's teaching and research programs in Statistical Science, whilst providing academic leadership for the discipline.
Teaching and supervising at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the role will require a strong researcher, who is dedicated to developing links with other members of the University and external groups engaged in statistical research and teaching.
The salary rate for Professor is A$126,972 per year. Professors may undertake a limited amount of consultative work.
