The Older and Working Age People Research and Evaluation Unit is part of the Ministry of Social Development's Centre for Social Research and Evaluation. We are committed to producing high quality research and evaluation relevant to social policy development. Our work provides government with evidence about the labour market, social and economic dynamics, inequalities and barriers to development for older and working age population groups.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst for our Health, Disability and Ageing team. You will have an active role in undertaking research and evaluation, including project leadership, and analysis of survey and administrative data. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in supporting policy development, and service delivery.
You will have strong analytical skills, experience in the analysis of survey and administrative data, and preferably expertise in SAS or similar statistical software. You will have strong project management, leadership, and mentoring skills. You will have post-graduate qualifications in a relevant research discipline, such as epidemiology, public health, or statistics, and experience in the field of health or disability-related research is desirable.
