An opportunity exists for a Panel Management Executive to join the Public Enterprise
unit of ACNielsen based in Sydney.
The successful candidate will work with a team of researchers responsible for the
Household, Income and Labour Dynamics Australia Survey (HILDA). HILDA is a
highly specified longitudinal survey of Australian households conducted by ACNielsen
on behalf of Melbourne Institute ofApplied Economic and Social Research and the
Commonwealth Government. The survey is primarily administered face to face by a
large team of interviewers.
The successful applicant will work in a team managing the project. They willwork with
the Panel Manager to provide panel administration services to HILDA, by managing the
data base and monitoring and maintaining the survey's procedures. To do this, you will
be a very practical person and enjoy problem solving.
We would expect the successful applicant to have 1-2 years of work experience in a
statistical methods role. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn, and to contribute to
one of the world's most successful longitudinal household surveys.
A more senior position in the same group could be made available for a suitable
candidate with 3-5 years of experience.
