Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Statistics (Academic Level B or C) in Melbourne

The Swinburne University of Technology is seeking to fill an ongoing lectureship in Statistics on its Hawthorn Campus in Melbourne. The appointee will be based in the Psychological Sciences and Statistics (PSS) grouping within the Faculty of Life and Social Sciences. The person appointed will have an active research program with a good publication record, especially in terms of inter-disciplinary research. The appointee will contribute in terms of research supervision in statistics, psychology, psycho-physiology and other areas in the faculty. Experience in areas such as sport statistics, personality, clinical and cognitive research will be considered an advantage. The position will provide support to the Faculty's teaching program by conducting undergraduate and postgraduate coursework teaching in statistics, as well as administrative and other activities associated with research and teaching.
