The Statistical Research and Consulting Center (SRCC) at Pfizer Global R&D is a global group of statisticians whose members are responsible for promoting and implementing the strategic use of statistics to achieve business goals, enhancing the reputation of Pfizer within the scientific community, and conducting research on problems that address business needs. The SRCC is a source of statistical expertise to Pfizer discovery scientists and clinicians as well as statisticians, providing consultation on statistical solutions to problems and strategy, new areas of study design, relevant new guidance documents, state of the art statistical applications, and product defense.

We invite applications for a position in the US. Similar to Associate/Full Professor in an academic setting, it is a senior-level position within the statistical community at Pfizer. The successful candidate should be active in research with an established publication record and consulting experience in areas relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate should also have excellent communication skills. Applicants with strong interests in some of the following areas are especially welcome: methodology for high dimensional data analysis (including genomics and proteomics), image analysis, Bayesian theory and applications, design and analysis of clinical trials, risk analysis, health economics.

The position could be located at any one of the following Pfizer locations: Groton/New London, Connecticut; New York City, New York; La Jolla, California; St Louis, Missouri.
