Our Client is a leading Global financial services organisation with operations in over 80 countries. Locally they have a dynamic multicultural Consumer Risk team that is in charge of developing and managing the company's personal financial services products to maximise portfolio profitability across the full credit spectrum, including acquisition of new customers, portfolio management, collections and fraud.

They seek to recruit a Senior Risk Analyst with specific responsibility for providing risk and profitability analytics to support management of a consumer Finance portfolio.

You responsibilities will include:

Monitor the rapidly growing consumer finance portfolios using sophisticated analytical models, with the purpose of formulating and implementing business cases to minimise risk and enhance revenue across the credit life cycle.

Manage and monitor the performance of automated credit scoring models ensuring they support the risk/reward trade off.

Proactively identify problem areas and opportunities to enhance future profitability. Assist in the implementation and enhancement of all decisioning and account management

This is a global organisation and the role will involve working closely with the Asia Pacific regional office to ensure that regional guidelines and procedures /best practise are used

Support and mentor less experiences portfolio risk analysts to develop their skills by sharing best practise techniques.

Preferred Requirements
  • Consumer Finance/ Credit card portfolio analysis experience
  • 3 years previous experience (scoring experience highly regarded)
  • Experience with automated decisioning and scoring within a consumer finance portfolio is highly regarded.
  • SAS programming experience
  • Excel, VBA experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Statistical analytical experience
