We require a Post Doctoral scientist to join a project developing new methods for the analysis of genetics and genomics data. This project is focussed on the application of computer technologies, such as configurable hardware devices, to livestock improvement. The successful applicant will have a PhD in statistical or quantitative genetics, statistics, scientific computing or a related discipline, and will have the capacity to apply their skills to produce innovative research outputs. As a member of a multidisciplinary team the position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well the ability to work independently.
