Applications are invited for a position as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Biostatistics, to be based in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Dunedin School of Medicine. This is equivalent to the American level of Associate Professor.
The Department is a large research oriented department with several research units. It currently includes nine biostatisticians in academic and research posts, who provide biostatistical support and collaborative links within the Division of Health Sciences. The biostatistics group also has close ties to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Applicants for this position should have a doctoral degree in biostatistics or statistics and appropriate experience. The person appointed will be expected to engage in collaborative health research, independent methodological research, and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
