Seeking a challenging role at the cutting edge of developments in the corporate finance sector ? A key player in the investment banking advisory sector with a significant global presence, our client has a particular focus on structured asset finance.
Its global infrastructure team is one of the fasting growing parts of the business. It has recently been investing extensively in energy-related assets and has amassed a large portfolio of renewable energy assets
There is now a need for a quantitative analyst to support the team – and there will be tremendous upside in the role given the expanding nature of the team. The key responsibilities of the role will be providing the modeling and structuring support required for each of the deals in due diligence and for existing business; it will also focus on coordinating with other quant. teams globally. This will be a reasonably autonomous role in that you will be expected to create and manage financial models and the ongoing administration of these analyses in order to provide innovative financial solutions.
The suitable candidate will have superb excel and VBA modeling skills as well as two to five years’ of experience in investment banking, investment management or actuarial / quant. type roles. An engineering background is also suitable.
A PhD level graduate – or a Masters degree holder working towards a finance related PhD - with some project finance experience would also be considered. This is definitely a role for someone who is going to be able to develop beyond the role over time and who is anxious to forge a career in investment advisory. Base salary will be well above market norms and bonuses can be multiples of the base salary.
