Manager, Market Risk Management

    The Manager, Market Risk Management will be involved in the review of all market risk framework, models and methodologies within the Bank. You will be responsible for participating in the independent model validation process, aiming to continuously improve the risk analysis and internal controls and processes.

    More specifically, your duties will include:
  • Assisting the Executive Manager with continuous improvement of the Bank’s market risk framework;
  • Assisting business units in reviewing, building and simplifying market risk methodologies;
  • Contributing to risk reports in the monthly Asset & Liabilities Committee pack and Risk Committee papers;
  • Assisting in the validation of risk models;
  • Processing improvements and recommendations of internal control changes.

    To be considered for this position it is desirable that you have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mathematics, Statistics or Accounting;
  • Quantitative analysis skills
  • Strong business and risk analysis experience;
  • Information and risk management experience.

    As the successful candidate, your demonstrated experience within risk analysis and quantitative modelling will be highly regarded, as will your strong business analysis experience. Your strong communication skills will compliment your business analysis and information management skills.
