Utilise your statistical consulting and experimental design experience to contribute to science discovery in New Zealand. This position is based at our Grasslands campus, situated in beautiful and inspiring rural surroundings, with easy access to Palmerston North city (www.pncc.govt.nz ) on the North Island of New Zealand.

Advocating statistical principles, your solid communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work collaboratively with scientists and provide specialised analysis, training for science staff, and expert advice on the scope and use of statistical tools.

Tertiary qualified, you will probably have had experience in statistical consulting. You will be proficient in a variety of statistical packages (e.g. R, GenStat, SAS), and have the ability to prioritise and cope with competing demands. We will value your ability to work both co-operatively in a team environment, and independently. You will be one of four statisticians at Grasslands, and part of a larger nationwide team.
