Position Details
Based in the CBD, the LSAY branch of NCVER is responsible for the Longitudinal Surveys of Australian Youth project. Reporting to the Manager, LSAY, the Data Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the LSAY datasets, which are stored as a series of SAS files. This requires a high degree of attention to detail to ensure that the datasets are accurate, secure and that the data integrity is of the highest standard.
To be successful in this role, you will require experience in managing and maintaining large, complex, statistical datasets, and have an understanding of the activities associated with data management. Experience in the use of SAS, or equivalent software, to validate, manipulate and tabulate data efficiently, accurately and with close attention to detail is required. You will be expected to have relevant work experience of a similar nature, and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in a maths of science related discipline.

Salary will be in the range of $50,814 - $77,501 commensurate with skills and experience.
employer contribution to superannuation of up to 15% of gross salary is also offered.
