Senior Analyst in Statistics, Banking, Finance and Superannuation ($130,000 Neg)

As the Principle Analyst you will need to you use your Banking or Superannuation statistical expertise for the development of products and information about Australia’s finance industry. Your work here plays a key role in enhancing existing work practices within the industry.

You will liaise with and provide expert advice and assistance to other analysts and users of statistics within the banking and finance industry.

Some of the key challenges include:

Provide efficient and effective project management leadership

Provide expert analysis and advice on complex issues

Develop strong operational relationships

Continue professional development to maintain technical expertise

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policy developments and other general changes affecting the finance industry

The knowledge you'll require:
* specialist knowledge and experience within a quantitative analysis environment * Strong finance industry knowledge * Strong knowledge of reporting frameworks * Experience dealing with other experts in the field of financial statistics * Substantial skills and proven capacity to manage projects * High level knowledge of the make-up and operation of the finance sector * Highly developed problem-solving skills * Excellent organisational skills * Well developed leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills * Highly developed written and verbal communication skills * Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience * Knowledge of the APRA Act and other relevant legislation
