Well, not in this role. A fantastically creative Sydney market research agency is looking for a Statistician who pushes boundaries, is highly imaginative and really turned on by numbers. In other words, they want someone who likes to use their right brain as well as their left brain. Do you fit the bill?
If you can see yourself reporting to the Managing Director of a leading MR agency who has operated in Australia for more than fifteen years, then this is the role for you. They pride themselves on offering insight and a competitive edge through innovation and integration to a number of high profile business and government clients. You will be involved in project design and analysis, improving the existing techniques that are used and supporting client service staff by suggesting new ways of looking at data.
So, let’s get down to business. We see the following skills as important in this role.
Tertiary Qualifications in statistics, mathematics, marketing, economics.
Proficiency in software packages such as: SAS, Excel, (Sawtooth or other Hierarchical Bayes Software an advantage).
EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills
A minimum of 3 years statistical experience gained within a market research agency environment;
Experience in the use of advanced multivariate statistical tools & predictive modelling techniques;
Ability to be a team player with a genuine interest in statistics and a willingness to spend time with project teams who have varying levels of familiarity with research methods.
