The Environmetrics Landscape management Research Group works with a wide range of researches in CSIRO. The group conducts statistical research in areas such as water resource accounting and forecasting, assessing climate change impacts, landscape monitoring and environmental risk assessment. This research is used to support informed decision making to better manage Australia's natural resources and environment. The scientific problems arising are varied and challenging, requiring strong mathematical and statistical skills to develop suitable solutions in collaboration with world class scientists of many disciplines.
