Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor

Melbourne Business School

Melbourne Business School has a position in the area of Statistics, at the sub-Professorial level.

The Melbourne Business School (MBS) is looking for someone to join the Statistics, Management Science and Operations group. The School is currently expanding in all areas. The purpose of this new position is to add to the group’s strength in the areas of statistical theory, methodology and applications. The main responsibilities will be to teach core quantitative analysis on the school’s prestigious award MBA program, to develop an elective subject in the same program, and to pursue an active internationally recognized research agenda in statistics.

The position is at either the Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor level, depending upon experience and track record. The position is located at the school’s main building, which is part of the University of Melbourne’s main Carlton campus in inner Melbourne. The occupant will have an employment contract with Melbourne Business School Limited, and a generous package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
