    The RMIT School of Mathematical and Geospatial Science (SMGS) is looking for a qualified lecturer with a background in delivering Statistics and Operations Research courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students? We are looking for an energetic and lively individual who is experienced and open to new and creative learning models, able to apply an outcomes focused, student-centred approach to teaching. You should also have made some contributions to research and possess potential for grant applications. The ability to build strong and collaborative links with industry is also highly sought after

    The School is active and successful in the area of ARC Research Grant Funding – in fact, we are currently working with industry sectors to map and model sports statistics including footy tipping. Other areas of research focus are in financial statistics, ecological modeling, quality control, reliability studies, optimisation and logistics.
