We seek applications for the position of Consulting Statistician, based in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. The position is funded in part by the University Research Committee.

The successful applicant will have experience in statistical consulting, excellent communication and organisational skills and a real interest in a wide range of research activities involving statistical analysis. They would normally hold a PhD in Statistics or some related area. This is an opportunity for a dynamic statistician to establish a consulting service for staff and graduates that will significantly improve the University’s research environment. There may be opportunities to undertake research, teaching or external consultancy.
