The Company

The Position
In this position, you will be part of a team responsible for uncovering trends and movements in the funds management industry. The role primary responsibility will be to oversee the management, production and enhancements of investment consulting / investment performance surveys. These surveys span institutional and retail asset classes for Investment and Superannuation Funds. This is a diverse and challenging position and one that will require you to liaise with fund managers on a regular basis. As a core function of the position you will amend and create new surveys that will uncover information regarding trends and movements in the industry, allowing the investment consulting team to predict market trends and ensure that all recommendations remain industry leading.

The Person
This position would suit someone with a strong funds management background, you may have worked as a Performance Analyst / Portfolio Analyst. You will be looking for an opportunity that will allow your to further develop you knowledge of the industry as well as give you an insight into Investment Consulting.

Opportunities and Experiences

Work closely with fund Managers, Clients and Colleagues in developing new and existing surveys

Assume ownership of the Global Investment Management Database to ensure data integrity as well as ensuring the smooth implementation of survey and software updates

Oversee the delivery and production of monthly surveys and software updates

Assist in the production of manager style and risk analysis

Skills and Experience

Passion for funds management and a commitment to your own personal development

Broad understanding of key investment management principals as well as strong industry and fund manager knowledge
