CSL is a global biopharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets protein based products that treat and prevent serious human conditions. This is a rare opportunity to work within a small group of like-minded people, supporting a growing portfolio of clinical trials in the R&D division.

Reporting to the Chief Biostatistician, you will act as lead statistician on a number of clinical trial programs, taking responsibility for all statistical aspects of clinical trial programs, from the planning stages through to the completion of the trial; ensuring the protocols, statistical analyses plans and clinical study reports reflect best statistical practice, as well as contributing to analyses of resulting efficacy and safety databases, and writing statistical analysis reports.

Your substantial experience working as a biostatistician in a pharmaceutical, CRO or other clinical trials setting will mean you understand modern clinical trial design and both EU and US regulatory requirements for clinical trials. Experience in SAS and JMP statistical programming would be a plus.

As a central member of a small team, it’s important that your written and verbal communication skills are of a high calibre. It is essential that your tertiary qualification in Biostatistics or Statistics is supported by a post-graduate qualification in the same field.
