Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac), Australia’s foremost cancer centre, has a strong focus on clinical, basic and translational research.
We are seeking an experienced Statistician Director to lead the Centre in the provision of high quality statistical and data management support to Peter Mac research.
You will have at least 10 years experience in statistical consulting, medical research and a post-graduate degree in statistics (preferably PhD). You will be an experienced manager with high level communication and organisational skills, experience in clinical trials, especially cancer trials is desirable.
You will guide BaCT during a period of change and expansion and gain exposure to interesting and challenging statistical and clinical research problems. You will be involved in the design conduct, analysis and reporting of cancer clinical trials and other studies, provide advice to senior managers and be engaged in, and promote, relevant research in biostatistics
