Metro Power Company provides a professional consulting service across a wide range of areas
related to energy use, energy supply and carbon emission. Two positions exist for qualified
professional statisticians (one senior, one graduate) to support our team of energy managers.
Candidates will be professional statisticians, with training and experience in a broad range of
activities and statistical methodologies.
Candidates shall be required to demonstrate experience with advanced artificial neural
network modelling and traditional regression techniques. Key duties will involve:
General statistical and IT consultation
Statistical data analysis
Managing and Conducting Data Mining projects
Questionnaire design, analysis, and automated reporting
Experimental design
Six-Sigma and Quality Control/Statistical Process Control
Custom solution development and deployment
Salary Range: $45-120K pending qualifications and experience.
Location: West Perth, Western Australia.
