Senior Research Fellow - Patient Studies (CBRC.82)
The Senior Research Fellow will be expected to conceive and develop research protocols, design questionnaires, develop plans for statistical analyses, initiate collaborations with appropriate researchers and health service providers, present research results at scientific and other meetings, and write papers for publication. Part of the role will include oversight and development of the PROSPECT (Patient Responses: an Ongoing Survey of People Experiencing Cancer Treatment) Program. This role is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is interested in a career as an independent researcher and is keen to improve patient experience of cancer treatment and care.
Quit Research and Evaluation Officer (CBRC.34)
The Quit Research and Evaluation Officer will coordinate, develop, conduct analyse and report on selected research and evaluation projects for Quit Victoria. Projects will include tracking smoking behaviour in Victoria, examining smokers’ perceptions about what helps them to quit, evaluating the impact of Quit programs and services, and monitoring trends in public opinion on smoking related policies.
Research Officer (Data Analyst) (CBRC.92)
The newly created position of Research Officer (Data Analyst) will undertake statistical analysis and report writing for several key behavioural research studies in cancer control. These include a randomised controlled trial of a supportive care intervention for people with bowel cancer and a study of time trends in students’ drug and alcohol use.

The PapScreen Research and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for coordinating the development, conduct analysis and reporting of selected research and evaluation projects within the PapScreen Program.
