The Health Economics and Social Policy Group, led by Professor Leonie Segal, conducts research exploring how to effectively allocate resources to improve the health and wellbeing of the community. The Group work closely with the State government to enhance health economics informed decision making, increase health economics capacity in South Australia and improve the health of the community. The Group are currently working on seven nationally competitive research grants and contracts for government.
As Senior Research Fellow you will play a key leadership role and will make an original contribution to the Group’s research. This will include building research capacity in existing and new priority areas, and establishing a distinct research profile based on your existing skills and experience, and areas of future interest.
To be successful you must hold a PhD and have a demonstrated research record including peer reviewed publications, conference presentations and obtaining competitive grants funding. High level interpersonal and communication skills suited to operating in a multidisciplinary team environment and prior leadership experience are also essential.
