The position provides epidemiological input into the monitoring, evaluation and research activities of the Cancer Institute NSW to guide the achievements of the NSW Cancer Plan. The role will produce descriptive epidemiological reports and analyses, interpret and disseminate data from databases and manage the ongoing development of the cancer indicators database in collaboration with other branches/divisions. Additionally you will respond to ad hoc data requests, and may be required to undertake more complex analyses for special projects, research initiatives or specialist reports.

Candidates should possess proven experience in the analysis and reporting of descriptive epidemiological data. The role also requires a sound proficiency in SAS or similar programming. Relevant tertiary qualifications in epidemiology, public health, statistics or a related discipline are necessary for this role.
