Job Vacancy: EL1, Senior Research Officer, Australian Taxation Office, several positions.

The Debt strategic development research team is looking for Senior Research Officers to analyse economic and statistical data relating to tax debt. The successful applicant(s) will conduct forecasting through the use of data extraction, modelling and management tools, while helping to plan and deliver strategic projects.

We are seeking experienced officers with strong economic and statistical work experience or relevant academic qualifications and research skills. A background in econometric and statistical analysis is essential.

You must be able to demonstrate practical experience in research techniques and the application of project management principles and strategic capabilities. You will play an integral role in ensuring robust research is applied to all projects, developing innovative strategies and high quality advice to address a diverse range of Debt business line issues.

Salary will depend on qualifications and experience. The salary range for the Executive Level 1 (EL1) is $85,637 - $92,473, not including employer superannuation contributions.

Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
