Statistical Analyst in Clinical Trials Research Unit

The Clinical Trials Research Unit is located within the School of Population Health at The University of Auckland Tamaki campus. The Unit is focussed on innovative research aiming to reduce the major risks to health.

An opportunity is available for a Statistical Analyst to undertake a range of statistical analyses and reporting using professional statistical software, such as SAS, S-Plus, R and STATA. You will work as part of a team on a variety of health studies conducted both nationally and internationally.

You will need to be thorough, and have an analytical and logical approach to your work as well as excellent communication skills. You will need good organisation skills, attention to detail, initiative, and self motivation. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the methodology required for data analysis and the ability to develop accurate, efficient, user-friendly statistical programs for the purpose of analysis. Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred.
