Principal Energy Analyst/Statistician

Position Available: Principal Energy Analyst/Statistician
Term: 6 month staff Contract, commencing 1st July 2009
Metro Power Company provides a professional consulting service across a wide range of areas related to energy use, energy supply and carbon emission. A position exists for qualified professional statistician to be part of an exciting sustainable energy project, reporting to the Managing Director.
Candidates will be professional statisticians, with training and experience in the following statistical methodologies.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with artificial neural network modeling and multi-variable linear/non-linear regression techniques.
Experience conducting statistical data analysis of time-series data for predictive analysis
Advanced SQL database manipulation and VB programming
Key duties:
General statistical and IT consultation
Experimental design, database development and administration
Custom solution development and deployment
Managing and Conducting Data Mining projects
Questionnaire design, analysis, and automated reporting
Salary Range: $80-100K per annum pending qualifications and experience.
Location: Perth CBD, Western Australia.
