Statistics New Zealand

Statistics New Zealand is pleased to announce the Official Statistics Research (OS Research) Call for Expressions of Interest (EoI) for the 2010-11 fiscal year. OS Research is seeking to fund statistical and methodological research projects that will contribute to understanding and improving the usefulness, reliability, coverage and availability of the statistics produced and held in the Official Statistics System (OSS). Project proposals must meet at least one of the research priorities for the upcoming fiscal year. Information including the research priorities, assessment criteria and the EOI template to use can be found at:

Please note that EoIs are due at 5 pm, Monday, 15 February 2010.

EoIs will be reviewed by a panel consisting of relevant public sector staff, academics and/or private researchers. Successful EoI applicants will then be asked to submit a full proposal in order to be considered for final selection.
