Salary: $54,588 - $74,076 p.a. plus 9% superannuation.
The Australian Research Council has funded a 3-year research program in
statistics through its Discovery Project grant scheme. You will be
expected to work with one or more of Dr Andrew Robinson and Professors
Mark Burgman and Colin Thompson, on problems in the applied statistics of
risk analysis with a specific focus on quarantine biosecurity.
You will be expected to have a PhD in statistics or an equivalent
qualification, leading to publishable research.
You will posses good personal skills and be able to liaise with other
academics and researchers in statistics, in addition computational skills
at a high level.
