KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
1. Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently.
2. Demonstrated ability to undertake quantitative analysis and applying the analysis to reporting and research
3. Understanding of statistical analysis techniques and experience in the use of a statistical analysis software package (e.g. SAS, SPSS)
4. Ability to develop sound working relationships with people both internal and external to NCVER, and at all levels
5. Well developed computer skills including Microsoft suite of tools including Project, and Access.
6. Capacity to think analytically and critically and to make links to overall policies and strategic directions.
7. High level oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information effectively and clearly to a wide audience.
8. Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to set and achieve priorities, monitor work flow and meet time-lines.
9. Awareness of, and commitment to, quality assurance procedures.
