The NSW Pap Test Register (PTR) is a confidential database of woman's Pap tests and related follow-up test results and was established by the NSW Public Health Act 1991. The PTR supports the NSW Cervical Screening Program which aims to reduce the incidence of cervical cancer.

As the Assistant Data Manager you will support all aspects of the management and operations of the PTR database. You will be responsible for implementing data quality programs, working collaboratively on key projects, preparing reports and resolving technical and data problems. You will also be responsible for supervising a small team of data specialists.

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience and an understanding of quality assurance principles. You will also have well developed organisation skills, sound analytical and problem solving skills, a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of personal information and experience supervising staff.
