    As part of the Research Performance Analysis team within the Research Analytics and Data Strategy (RADS) group within the Research Portfolio, you will develop and provide strategic analyses of University-level research performance data in order to inform University and divisional research strategy.

    Reporting to the Research Performance and Analysis Team Leader, you will:

  • play a key role in informing the strategic research development across the University in line with the strategic plan by utilising your experience in strategy, policy development and implementation.
  • liaise with key stakeholders (DVC-R, Research Development Director, Divisional Research Committees, Deans and Heads) in order to develop discipline-specific research performance evaluation methodology and provide data, analyses, and interpretation of data to stakeholders
  • possess high-level analytical, strategic planning, project management and problem-solving skills to develop, implement and maintain discipline-specific methodologies to evaluate research excellence, strengths, and emerging strengths across the University.

    This exciting position suits an experienced manager with thorough understanding of research evaluation indicators supported by a postgraduate research qualification and extensive research experience in a university setting.
