Key role in informing the strategic research development across the University
Develop, implement and perform data modelling
Full-time continuing: $98- $111K p.a including leave loading and up to 17% super
As part of the Research Performance Analysis team within the Research Analytics and Data Strategy (RADS) team within the Research Portfolio, you will develop and perform modelling and projection analyses on University-level research performance data in order to determine outcomes of University and divisional strategic decisions.
Reporting to the Director, RADS, you will:
develop the data modelling capability of the Research portfolio to enable identification and strategic management of the University's research strengths, capabilities and opportunities
liaise with stakeholders to determine modelling requirements and develop, implement and perform modelling of the outcomes of strategic decisions made at University and Divisional levels
provide strategic support to stakeholders regarding modelling outcomes and results
use internal and commercial databases, and other resources as required, including actively seeking information and data from other University administrative units (HR, CFR etc) to generate data required for analyses.
To succeed, you will possess extensive experience with standard modelling packages and techniques and high-level analytical, strategic planning, project management and problem-solving skills. You will have outstanding organisational, time-management and prioritising skills in high-pressure environment with strict deadlines and an ability to work on several projects simultaneously and respond to changing priorities. A postgraduate qualification and sound understanding of the higher education sector is highly advantageous.
The position is full-time continuing.
