Applications are invited for a position of Lecturer in Biostatistics within the Institute of Fundamental Sciences in the College of Sciences at Massey University. Candidates with an interest in statistical modelling of animal disease are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Institute of Fundamental Sciences is a multi-disciplinary research and teaching Institute within the College of Sciences at Massey University, Palmerston North. It incorporates groups in Chemistry & Biophysics; Mathematics & Mathematical Physics; and Statistics & Bioinformatics. The Institute has strong links with other units within the College of Science, including the Infectious Diseases Research Centre (IDReC) and the Institute of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences (which incorporates New Zealand's only tertiary level veterinary school).

You will be expected to pursue independent research, develop collaborations with researchers across the University in the agricultural, biological and health sciences; make a significant contribution to the Institute's research outputs; attract research grants; and teach at any level as may be required.
