Salary per annum: $71151 - $77441

Purpose of the job
Conduct statistical analysis of health and health related data under the guidance of principal data analysts, including benchmarking studies and surveys. This could include assisting in the development, co-ordination and implementation of state-wide strategies, effective techniques and initiatives for the development, design, collection, interpretation, analysis and to assist in presentation of data information and systems, utilising project management methodology.

Your key responsibilities
- Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values.
- To perform epidemiological and statistical analysis as directed.
- To assist in health services analysis and the design and conduct of population-based studies.
- To produce statistical reports for use in corporate, whole-of-government and national publications.
- To participate in relevant projects carried out by Corporate Office and Health Services Districts.
- To work across disciplines in relevant policy, planning and project activities with Queensland Health or within Government or across sectors as required and to provide statistical advice.
- To provide training in relevant statistical topics as required by other Queensland Health staff.
