The Opportunity
The School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Lecturer in Statistics to join a highly motivated team of mathematics teaching and research at Clayton campus.

The Lecturer is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the University and to carry out activities to develop and maintain scholarly research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.

The appointment will be made in the areas of probability, stochastic processes, theoretical or applied statistics. Applicants should have a PhD, an outstanding research record and proven teaching ability. An ability to do statistical consulting would be an important asset.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
