Department of Mathematics and Statistics Doctoral Scholarships are tenable for study towards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics or Statistics at the University of Canterbury.

Value: $20,000 per annum plus tuition fees at NZ domestic rate.
All international PhD students pay tuition fees at the domestic rate, provided that the students reside in New Zealand and study under a New Zealand student visa.

Tenure: 3 Years.

Closing Date: 10 October 2011.

Applications are to be submitted via the proposed senior supervisor. The senior supervisor must be a continuing academic staff member of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
