Finity

Finity is the largest independent general insurance actuarial consulting firm in Australia. We have over 85 people in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, including about 35 qualified actuaries and 30 students.

Our work covers the full spectrum of actuarial roles in general insurance - including pricing, Appointed Actuary work, DFA, accident compensation and risk management and health insurance.

The role
As a key member of our pricing team, you will work closely with our actuarial consultants to deliver innovative business solutions to our clients. Responsible for developing claim cost/other models using statistical and data mining techniques, you will build tools which support our clients in decision making and strategy development.

Ideally we would like someone with an insurance background and strong skills in programming and statistical modelling to join our team (SAS knowledge will be highly regarded). In addition, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to consult with clients will be critical.
