ROLE SUMMARY
This role is responsible for leading and managing the Analytic capabilities to best serve client needs. This is a key role, providing leadership and quality delivery of Analytics to the Bupa Health Dialog business.

KEY DELIVERABLES
  • To manage delegated activities within the Health Dialog Analytics team and establish and implement analytic plans for each Bupa Health Dialog client.
  • Define and track outcomes measures to ensure program performance meets client goals and objectives.
  • Recommend and deliver customer program optimization
  • Manage client relationship - Maintain a consistent schedule to provide updates to the Client Performance Manager as well as receive feedback. Provide regular delivery of client outcomes dashboard report to Client Performance Manager. Reinforce the continual adherence to Bupa Health Dialog policies and communicate information from other departments.
  • Provide leadership to Bupa Health Dialog Analytics team; work with team members to mature their analytic and business skills. Coach leadership skills at the various analyst levels.
  • Follow analytic developments within the Disease Management industry and identify possibility for new analyses and implement operational changes.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization of client-specific analyses to run across all existing clients. Develop, document, and communicate concepts, utilities, processes, standards, and procedures used within the department, while providing strategic ideas for improvement. Provide input into the technical standards and strategy around the departmental standard and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the Bupa Health Dialog management team.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Significant years of related experience with demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role
  • Ability to create a strategy to complete the goals, and execute with efficiency
  • Strong understanding of analytics, especially research methodology including statistical methods and industry measurement standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on the data
  • Demonstrated understanding of Managed Care and Disease Management industries and the key concepts used at Bupa Health Dialog as well as healthcare data
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Strong work execution, including: ownership of projects and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, present to large groups, teach technical concepts, and coach
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • High level of professional maturity

    QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Master's Degree preferably in mathematics/statistics, public health, epidemiology, or other related field, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced programming ability in SAS and proficient in SQL programming
