Applications are invited for the position of Professor of Statistical Genetics within the Institute of Fundamental Sciences in the College of Sciences at Massey University. The successful candidate will be a researcher of international standing with interests in the application of statistical methods in evolutionary biology, molecular epidemiology or cognate areas. A formal association with the Allan Wilson Centre of Research Excellence could be a possibility.
The duties of a successful candidate would include teaching and curriculum development within the Statistics & Bioinformatics Group in the Institute of Fundamental Sciences.
There is an expectation the appointee would take up the position by June 2012.
