Summary of the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a statistician to work in a leading financial consultancy. The position sits within the statistical team that provides support to many areas of the business. This is a broad role in which you will liaise with clients, build models from scratch, provide recommendations and much more. The team is in a growth period due to the success of the company and it is therefore a great time to join. You will be working in a company with a sociable and open culture. The office is open plan and has a non-bureaucratic nature.

Summary of your role

Liaise directly with clients to gather requirements

Build statistical models from scratch

Develop and maintain business relationships

Managing small project teams

Research new modelling techniques

Build decision support tools linked to the statistical models

Present findings to clients

Use SAS for statistical modelling

Experience Required

Programming and modelling experience in SAS essential

Highly advanced Excel skills

Strong communication skills in order to present to and liaise with clients

A strong history in statistics

A tertiary degree in statistics or related field - Masters or higher is highly regarded

Experience with GLM's
