The Opportunity:

The School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Statistics to join a highly motivated team in mathematics teaching and research at Clayton campus.

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will make contributions to the teaching effort of the University and carry out activities to develop and maintain scholarly research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.

To be considered, you will have a PhD in probability, stochastic processes, mathematical or applied statistics. Demonstrated capacity to engage in outstanding research consistent with the strengths and strategic directions of the school will be essential.

If you have a strong record of research publications, demonstrated capacity to work constructively and collaboratively with colleagues, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, we look forward to hearing from you!

Appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and in accordance with classification standards for each level.
