Salary Level 7: A$75K - A$81K per year (plus 17% employer superannuation and leave loading)

The Kirby Institute (formerly the National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research) is the major research body in Australia with responsibility for research into the clinical and epidemiological aspects of HIV/AIDS and other blood borne viruses. It works in collaboration with other research institutions throughout Australia.

We are seeking an experienced researcher with statistical programming and data management expertise to support four public health programs within the Kirby Institute. The successful applicant would be responsible for conducting statistical analysis of data of large datasets as directed by senior colleagues to support publications in peer reviewed health journals.

To be considered for this role applicants need to have experience working with large datasets using statistical software packages as well as research experience with marginalised communities. The successful applicant will have a relevant degree, the capacity to work independently and strong communication skills.

This is a fixed term (35 hours per week) position available for two years.
