The University of New England invites applications for a position as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Statistics. UNE is located in Armidale, NSW, on the northern tablelands surrounded by world heritage and national parks. Halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, Armidale is a vibrant university city recognised as a centre of culture, well served with art, music, theatre, sport and public and private education (visit: www.armidaleregion.com.au/ and/or www.experiencethehighs.com.au/ ).

The successful appointee will take an active role in the research efforts of the School of Science and Technology and will teach a selection of statistics units, ranging from large first year classes to specialised postgraduate units in on and off-campus education modes. We are looking for applicants who are able to build multi-disciplinary collaborations with researchers in the physical and life sciences, but welcome qualified applicants from any area of statistics.
