Position Overview

We seek applications from candidates with a demonstrated teaching and research record in any of the areas of statistics and operations research. The appointee will be expected to:

Contribute to teaching in statistics and/or operations research at all levels, especially in ways that enhance collaboration between the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research and other disciplines. Proficiency in statistical computing is expected.

Conduct research to an international standard in statistics and/or operations research that will include developing a research programme, collaborating with other researchers in Victoria University and elsewhere, and seeking external research funding.
