    The Client

    Our client is the Nation's leading Cultural and Arts institutions. Their aim is to make art accessible to all Australia's and promote Cultural causes within our country and beyond.. They develop valuable relationships between their stakeholders by blending commercial rigour, deep experience and robust evidence.

    The Role

    Working with client data to conduct analytical projects, typically from a customer or digital database, you’ll have a degree in actuarial studies, economics or computer science. The main analysis tools used will be Excel and custom databases.

    You'll be leading the delivery of a range of strategic reports and building relationships with the ABS. These projects will be predominantly marketing based but will also involve working with the consultancy teams. The role provides a great opportunity to develop your analytical and database marketing skills within an exciting creative agency environment.

    The Requirements

    Whilst the role is predominately analytical, you will have an understanding of the marketing environment and the role of data in communications within the Arts. It is also essential that you can translate your analytical skills into interpreting and communicating data through multiple media. A strong commercial awareness and ability to link analytical decisions and their impact on stakeholders is also desirable. The successful applicant will have:
  • Previous database work experience at a consulting firm, data or marketing agency
  • Experience in processing, manipulating and integrating large datasets
  • Experience in profiling and predicting future trends in human behavior.

    You will be comfortable establishing new teams and systems. You will show ambition and be both personable and adaptable. A keen interest both in data analytics and marketing communications within a Fine Arts context is desirable but not a requirement. You will be involved in supporting more senior members of the team with varied tasks, including (but not limited to) undertaking a range of analytic functions to support the organisation across both communication and consultancy projects including:
  • Marketing analysis projects including segmentation and profiling and propensity modeling
  • Customer and transactional data manipulation and analysis
  • Undertaking statistical analysis techniques required for quantitative research
  • Preparing presentations based on outputs

    Key required skills:
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLookups etc)
  • Excellent written work
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team management experience
  • Analytical, problem-solving mentality.
